Animation Co-op Chapters

Animation Co-op chapters exist in various cities around the world, where our members meet to share ideas and experiences, pitch projects, conduct critiques, screen films and socialize.

Chapter happenings are announced on our events page and through the Co-op mailing list. Our chapter sponsors may also be contacted directly for further information.

To start a chapter in your area...

Send mail to chapter@animationcoop.org. Please include the following information in your email: your full name, your preferred email address, your telephone number (for our contact only), and the city in which you wish to host a chapter.

The following will be required for the formation of any new Animation Co-op chapter:

as the chapter sponsor, you must review our Membership Agreement and register fully with The Animation Co-op, completing the "Required" AND "Optional" fields of our Member Registration Form
you must get at least 10 people from your area to also register (the minimum for a viable chapter); only the "Required" fields need be completed for these
you must commit to organizing at least one event in your area per year (such as a social, a project pitch session, a film screening, a panel discussion, or whatever else you can think of that is consistent with the Co-op's Mission Statement)
you must provide us with a 320x240 image representing your city or region, along with some descriptive text for your chapter page
